The Royal Commission for AlUla has forged a partnership with the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Asian Art to foster knowledge exchange, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The agreement aims to spread global awareness of the cultural heritage and ancient civilizations of the northern Arabian Peninsula.
The collaboration features joint research projects in art conservation, history, archaeology, and scientific studies.

Based on the deal, both entities will cooperate on hosting joint exhibitions, launching programs, exchanging museum research, storytelling, and museum management.
Therefore, it aligns with the commission’s strategy to position AlUla as a prestigious global hub for heritage and culture.
