As part of Environment Week 2025, the Jazan Mountainous Areas Development and Reconstruction Authority is drawing attention to its pioneering efforts in blue tea cultivation. The event, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, features active participation from government entities, private companies, and non-profit organizations.
The Authority’s pavilion has become a popular attraction, capturing visitors’ interest with the vibrant color, distinctive taste, and health benefits of blue tea.
This initiative is a cornerstone of the Authority’s broader strategy to promote sustainable agricultural practices in the mountainous regions of Jazan. In addition to its environmental benefits, the blue tea project is proving to be economically promising—offering new opportunities to boost local income and strengthen the region’s agricultural economy.
