“Makkah Greets Us” Attracts Visitors during Eid Al-Fitr Holiday

Hira Cultural District of Makkah is currently celebrating Eid Al-Fitr with several activities as part of “Makkah Greets Us” events, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Set to take place from March 31 to April 5, the initiative offers a wide range of recreational, cultural, and heritage activities suitable for people of all ages.

“Makkah Greets Us” seeks to highlight Islamic culture and historical landmarks of the region through the current events.

The initiative will also display traditional folklore performances in 26 languages.

Organized by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, the event aims to foster community bonds, underscore the historical and cultural significance of Makkah, as well as amuse people with a unique spirit of entertainment. That is why the event is open to the public and is free of charge.
