Here’s how to recreate this classic Indian dish at home.

- In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the chicken with this mixture and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Preparing the Marinade:

- For the classic red color, add a few drops of red food coloring and mix well.
Marinating the Chicken:
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat them thoroughly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight, for better flavor.
Cooking:

- Place the marinated chicken pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or lightly oiled.
- Bake the chicken for 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- For a charred finish, broil the chicken for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Serving:
- Serve the Tandoori chicken with Indian naan bread, basmati rice, or a green salad.
- Garnish with lemon slices and chopped coriander for an added touch of flavor.
