
The Theater and Performing Arts Commission is currently hosting the second Riyadh Theater Festival at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Arab News reported.
Set to take place from December 15 to 26, the festival will further support the theatrical movement in Saudi Arabia and elevate the evolving role of performing arts.
Through 20 fascinating performances, the 2024 edition will basically mirror the diversity of theatrical arts in the Kingdom, including its intellectual and developmental programs, according to the commission’s CEO Sultan Al-Bazie.
In addition, the festival will honor the late Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, who was a well-known figure in the field. It will also honor other brilliant performers.
Therefore, the event stands as a testament to the commission’s dedication to boosting the performing arts and Saudi talent and encouraging them to expand their presence on the regional and international stage.
