King Abdulaziz Castles in Haql, Duba: Historical Symbols of Eternal Ages of Tabuk

King Abdulaziz Castles in Tabuk region are one of the most important historical landmarks in the region, as their construction dates back more than 94 years.
It still stands tall, witnessing glorious eras and immortal national achievements, as it was built by order of King Abdulaziz Al Saud, according to Al-Ikhbariya.
These castles are located in the governorates of Haql and Duba on the western coast of the Kingdom, using limestone brought from the coral reefs on the coastal plain of the Gulf of Aqaba, and built with a distinctive architectural design that reflects Saudi heritage.
The roof was built of wood, palm fronds and clay. The interior contained open courtyards and offices for the government departments at the time. It had 4 towers on its top, and had a beautiful view of the Red Sea coast and the Gulf of Aqaba, attracting attention with the beauty of its scenery.
