Money20/20 Middle East Returns to Riyadh in Sep With Over 38,000 Participants

Riyadh will host the second edition of Money20/20 Middle East, one of the world’s premier finance and fintech events, from September 14 to 16 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham. The expanded 2026 edition is expected to draw more than 38,000 participants, further cementing the Saudi capital’s status as a regional hub for financial innovation.

Organizers say the event will bring together around 350 exhibiting brands, more than 350 speakers, over 600 investors, and 150 startups from across the globe — from senior executives and banking leaders to regulators and fintech pioneers. Attendees will also convene to discuss the future of financial services across six core themes: Future Financial Architecture, Trust by Design, Autonomous Finance, Empowered Finance, The Next Era of Payments, and The Future of Capital.

The new edition is hosted by the Financial Sector Development Program — one of the Vision Realization Programs under Saudi Vision 2030 — alongside the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Capital Market Authority, and the Insurance Authority. It is co-organized by Tahaluf and Fintech Saudi, reflecting an institutional alignment that underscores the Kingdom’s approach to the event as a strategic platform for its financial sector rather than a one-off occurrence.

Return Following Successful Launch

The expanded edition follows the notable success of the inaugural event held in Riyadh in September 2025 — the first launch of the global brand in the Middle East, after its established editions in Amsterdam, Las Vegas, and Bangkok. Additionally, its return on a larger scale reinforces growing international confidence in the Saudi market and the Kingdom’s ability to attract major specialized finance and business events.

The Kingdom is consolidating its position as a leading destination for fintech in the region, supported by an advanced legislative and regulatory framework, an attractive investment environment, and a sophisticated digital infrastructure. This aligns with Vision 2030 objectives that place fintech at the heart of efforts to diversify the national economy — from increasing the share of non-cash payments to building a globally competitive ecosystem of financial startups.
