Hail International Airport Welcomes 1.2 Million Passengers amid Surge in Traffic

Hail International Airport has recorded significant growth in its operational performance through 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, receiving over one million passengers.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Cluster2 Airports – the airport’s operator – Hail International Airport welcomed more than 1.2 million of domestic and international travelers across over 10,000 flights during that period.

The airport currently operates 9 airlines, connecting travelers to eight destinations: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Kuwait City, Cairo, Doha, Dubai, and Sharjah. This expanding network has driven a steady increase in air traffic and strengthened the airport’s global connectivity.

To ensure a seamless travel experience, Hail International Airport offers a comprehensive range of integrated facilities and services. These include diverse dining options, duty-free shopping, the “Hayyak” business class lounge, as well as in-terminal banking services.

In recognition of its operational excellence, the airport recently achieved Level 2 Customer Experience Accreditation from the Airports Council International (ACI), in addition to a compliance certificate for emergency medical safety standards, underscoring the airport’s high level of readiness and its commitment to international best practices in passenger safety.

This strong performance aligns with the ongoing efforts of Cluster2 Airports to upgrade the infrastructure across its network, elevating service quality for travelers in accordance with the highest global standards.
