In celebration of the arrival of its first three Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, Riyadh Air launched five new destinations, including Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah, Madrid, and Manchester.
Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier and a PIF company, said that this network expansion is part of its plans to strengthen air connectivity between Riyadh and key economic, tourism, and cultural hubs across the world, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
These new destinations, with more expected in the coming weeks, adds to Riyadh Air’s operational progress, supported by the delivery of the third Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on June 8. This fleet expansion bolsters the airline’s operational readiness and supports its goal of connecting Riyadh with more than 100 global destinations by 2030.
Anchored by the early arrival of its new aircraft fleet, Riyadh Air has moved up its inaugural flight to London to June 10, 2026, beating its original July 1 target.

The carrier’s broader network rollout kicks off mid-month with flights to Jeddah on June 14, Dubai on June 18, and Cairo on June 25, before extending to Madrid on July 17 and Manchester on July 23. Passengers can begin purchasing tickets through official sales channels.
Riyadh Air’s CEO Tony Douglas hailed the launch of the new routes as a pivotal milestone for the airline that underscores the rapid growth and ambition to redefine air travel experience and strengthen the Kingdom’s global connectivity.
