Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier and a PIF-backed company, has boosted its network with three new destinations: Jeddah, Madrid and Manchester.
The additions come as part of the airline’s ambitious plans to expand its network to more than 100 destinations by 2030, establishing itself as a key player in the global aviation sector and creating global links for business and leisure travel.
The addition of Jeddah creates a critical bridge to the Red Sea gateway, directly supporting the Kingdom’s goal of becoming a global crossroads for tourism and trade.
Meanwhile, the expansion to Madrid and Manchester enhances Riyadh Air’s footprint in the European market.

In October 2025, the airline launched its first daily flights from Riyadh to London Heathrow Airport aboard its designated Boeing 787-9 aircraft, “Jamila.”
Moreover, the airline launched daily service from Riyadh to Cairo, the Egyptian capital, in February 2026, aboard its new state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. This move aligns with Riyadh Air’s mission to connect Saudi Arabia with major global hubs and deliver a world-class travel experience, directly supporting Saudi Vision 2030.
“The launch of our commercial service to Cairo marks a true beginning of our journey to connect Riyadh to the world, and the world to Riyadh. This route has been carefully selected to serve a key market that aligns with our ambition to become a global destination and a significant contributor to Vision 2030,” CEO of Riyadh Air Tony Douglas said.
In addition to London and Cairo, Riyadh Air will also launch commercial flights to Dubai, as part of its launch plan – called “Pathway to Perfect.”
