The Saudi Red Crescent Authority team has been crowned champion of the First Aid World Cup, a global achievement that reflects the competence and excellence of national personnel in first aid and community awareness, and embodies the advanced level the Authority has reached in developing its emergency and humanitarian capabilities.
The Authority team’s participation in the competition was marked by a strong presence in a tournament organized in cooperation between the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, with teams from national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies from around the world.

The Saudi Red Crescent secured first place in the Community Awareness Challenge, along with second place in the First Aid and Resuscitation Innovation Challenge, and third place in the Scenario-Based First Aid Response Challenge.
Moreover, this participation contributes to the exchange of expertise and practices, exposure to international experiences in first aid, and the development of national personnel skills, which in turn enhances the quality of the training and awareness programs offered by the Authority and strengthens community readiness to deal with emergency cases.
The participation also represents an opportunity to highlight the Saudi experience in first aid, enhance the Authority’s presence within the international humanitarian work system, and build new bridges for cooperation and knowledge exchange, supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to promote a culture of first aid and protect lives.
This achievement builds on the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s efforts to invest in national competencies, develop training and awareness programs, and transform first aid knowledge into community practice that contributes to saving lives and enhancing safety and quality of life.
