Zubair Wins Tekken 8 Title at 2025 Esports World Cup

Khawaja Muhammad Zubair “M.Zubair” of AG.AL won the Tekken 8 tournament at the 2025 Esports World Cup after defeating Yoon Sun-woong “LowHigh” 3-1 in the final.

The new champion emerged from a 444-player field by topping the Last Chance Qualifier. He also defeated Arslan Siddique, an eight-time EVO tournament champion, twice during the competition—first 3-0 in the group stage and later 5-4 in the semifinal.

Along with the title, M.Zubair received $250,000 from the tournament’s overall prize purse, in addition to the $50,000 Jafonso prize. He also secured 1,000 Club Championship points for AG.AL.

LowHigh, who finished runner-up for the second consecutive year, received $130,000 and 750 Club Championship points for Kiwoom DRX. In the third-place match, Benjamin Torngdee “Yagami” defeated Ash 5-2.
