Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Anqari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Saudi Arabia’s successful hosting and organization of the third International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO 2026).
He also congratulated the leadership on Saudi students’ top ranking in the Olympiad, describing the achievement as a reflection of both scientific excellence and organizational success.
Al-Anqari said the Kingdom’s accomplishments at the international event reflected the leadership’s care and support for citizens, as well as its commitment to investing in national talent. Empowering gifted and creative individuals, he added, contributes to building a knowledge- and innovation-based economy and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s global competitiveness in line with the objectives and programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
He noted that Saudi students topped the Olympiad’s results, while the Kingdom successfully hosted and organized the international event for the first time in the Middle East. According to Al-Anqari, these achievements demonstrate Saudi Arabia’s progress in developing an integrated ecosystem for nurturing talent and advancing scientific capabilities, while highlighting the ability of national talent to compete and excel and to organize international scientific events in accordance with the highest standards.
