Traditional handicrafts are drawing large crowds at the “Najran Bounties” (Khayrat Najran) Festival. The festival is organized by the Najran branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Aba Al-Saud neighborhood beside the historic Emirate Palace.
The handicrafts pavilion has emerged as one of the festival’s main attractions. It offers visitors an opportunity to explore a wide range of handmade products that reflect Najran’s long-standing craft traditions and cultural heritage. The displays highlight skills that have been passed down through generations and remain an important part of the region’s identity.

Among the featured items are the matrah, joonah, zabeel, darajah, traditional brooms, hand fans, baskets, madhan, and other heritage products. Additionally, each piece is handcrafted by local artisans using traditional weaving techniques, with many made from natural materials sourced from the local environment.
Participating artisans said their products attract buyers from Najran and other parts of Saudi Arabia because of their quality, durability, and craftsmanship.
