Nora Fatehi Releases New FIFA World Cup Song

Moroccan-Canadian singer, dancer and actress Nora Fatehi has released “Champions (Fi Kol Makan),” a new FIFA World Cup anthem featuring Tanzanian artist Rayvanny and Bangladeshi-American DJ and producer Sanjoy.

Fatehi announced the release on Instagram this week, describing the track as a “victory anthem.”

“I feel so different with this one … it is the most wholesome and emotionally real project I’ve worked on in a very long time,” she wrote in a post on Saturday.

The release follows “Siir Siir,” another official FIFA World Cup song unveiled last month ahead of the tournament, which is being held across the United States, Canada and Mexico. That track also featured Sanjoy alongside French singer Vegedream, whose 2018 football anthem “Ramenez la Coupe à la Maison” became a fan favorite during France’s World Cup-winning campaign.

Directed by Abderrafia El-Abdioui, the music video for “Champions” shows Fatehi performing choreography in a desert setting, surrounded by football jerseys and national flags.

The latest release marks another World Cup milestone for Fatehi, whose family is from Morocco. Born and raised in Canada, she has frequently spoken about her Moroccan heritage.

Fatehi previously appeared on FIFA’s official soundtrack for the 2022 Qatar World Cup with “Light the Sky,” alongside Balqees, Rahma Riad and Manal. The multilingual anthem celebrated the first World Cup held in the Middle East and became one of the tournament’s best-known songs.

She has since expanded her international profile across music, film and fashion, with a career spanning Bollywood, North Africa and global pop.

Fatehi is among several artists featured on this year’s official FIFA World Cup album. Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna also appears on the soundtrack with “Illuminate,” a collaboration with Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez.
