Buraidah city in Qassim is witnessing a vibrant cultural activity as part of the Peoples’ Heritage Festival, organized by Qassim University at the King Khalid Cultural Center.
In its fifth edition, the Peoples’ Heritage Festival is bringing together more than 90 countries from around the world, highlighting global heritage diversity and fostering cultural and knowledge exchange among peoples.

Over six days, the festival immerses visitors in live folkloric performances and traditional attire shows that showcase the cultural identity of the participating countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Furthermore, it features international pavilions displaying each country’s traditional heritage, in a vibrant showcase of authenticity and cultural diversity.

The Peoples’ Heritage Festival also includes several accompanying events, such as educational and entertaining shows at the children’s theater, a classic car showcase, and falconry demonstrations, reflecting authentic Arabian heritage.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s pavilion offers an introductory content that highlights the evolution of the Saudi State (the First, Second and Third), explaining its history, development, and civilizational and cultural achievements.

Buraidah has been designated as a UNESCO Creative City for preserving the authentic soul of Najdi culture through its vibrant traditions and deep-rooted community heritage. It stands as a global testament to Saudi Arabia’s enduring cultural legacy and its dynamic contribution to the world’s creative landscape.
