Saudi Arabia’s Hail Breaks Guinness World Record for Largest Off-Road Convoy
Saudi Arabia’s Hail Region has achieved a global milestone by hosting the world’s largest off-road vehicle convoy, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
At the historic Tuwaren area located northwest of Hail, the largest off-road production car convoy took place, setting a new Guinness World Record.

The event took place under the patronage of Hail Region Governor and Chairman of the Hail Region Development Authority, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz.
It was organized by the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and Hail Region Development Authority, and sponsored by the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority and Culture House.
Moreover, the event got the support of 14 government entities, including the Principality of Hail Region and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation.

The record-breaking event saw 501 off-road vehicles traverse a challenging seven-kilometer desert route, serving as a testament to the area’s diverse topography and the adventurous spirit of the participants.
It also cemented Hail’s status as a leading winter destination attracting adventure enthusiasts.
Organizers confirmed that the convoy met all Guinness World Records requirements and standards, including strict adherence to the designated route without stops or deviations. The use of GPS tracking systems further ensured the official certification of this new world record.

With this milestone, Saudi Arabia surpassed the previous record held by Australia since 2016, which featured a convoy of 449 off-road vehicles.
On this occasion, the Governor of Hail praised the Saudi leadership for the continuous support that drives regional growth, while also celebrating the region’s youth for their historic success in breaking the Guinness World Record.
