On March 14-15, 2025, the newly inaugurated Sports Boulevard will host the Sand Dunes Festival at the Sand Sports Park. It is a large outdoor space, spanning 20 square kilometers, located southeast of King Khalid International Airport.

The Sand Dunes Festival 2025 offers unique cycling and running events, in addition to exciting family-friendly activities, and it is completely free.
On March 14, the cycling event will start at 9 pm, providing cyclists of all ages with a variety of courses that fit all skill levels. The 4 km course is suitable for children and cyclists aged 8 and above. More professional riders can challenge themselves on the 7 km, 15.7 km, or 31.4 km courses.
The thrilling running event will kick off on March 15 at 9 pm. It offers a range of distances for runners of all fitness levels. They can choose from 4 km, 8.5 km, or 13 km, while children aged 8 and above can have fun at the 2 km race.
If you are not cycling or running, you can also have fun at the Sand Dunes Festival 2025. Spectators are welcome to join the event and enjoy a variety of activities. They can find food stalls offering local and international dishes, entertainment activities, and family-friendly games, as well as areas dedicated to spectators to cheer for participants.
