Diriyah Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Tennis Federation to support the growth of tennis in Diriyah, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The deal seeks to boost collaborative initiatives and support the skills of youth in schools and community venues through several educational events.
According to the agreement, the officials have formed a joint working group to explore areas of cooperation, activate the provisions of the MoU, as well as to enhance coordination between both parties.
The deal represents an integral part of Diriyah Company’s ongoing efforts to promote the quality of life, support sports, and develop an integrated, sustainable community.
These efforts and initiatives aim to position Diriyah as a global destination boasting sports, culture, arts, heritage, as well as distinctive levels of quality of life.
Crucially, the Diriyah project is anticipated to host over 100,000 residents and attract 50 million visitors annually by 2030.
As part of its goals to develop the sport of tennis throughout the Kingdom, the Saudi Tennis Federation aims to empower young men and women through talent discovery and development programs.
Therefore, the federation has been hosting and organizing tournaments to strengthen the position of tennis as one of the main sports in the Kingdom.
