
Visitors of Al-Suwaidi Park have enjoyed a full week of activities and events that showcased Pakistani heritage, as part of Riyadh Season 2024, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Amid a huge turnout, the Pakistani Week included musical performances for many prominent Pakistani artists, where visitors enjoyed the diversity and authenticity of Pakistani heritage in a unique atmosphere.
Moreover, traditional markets took visitors in an exciting journey to discover the original beauty of Pakistan, by offering Pakistani traditional clothes and popular delicious dishes.
On Sunday, Al-Suwaidi Park has launched the Yemeni Week, running through Wednesday, in an exceptional experience that will take visitors in a journey through Yemen’s heritage.
The Yemeni Week features a carnival, folklore shows, and other art performances that reflect the Yemeni heritage. Famous artists will perform throughout the week. Furthermore, visitors will have the opportunity to taste the popular Yemeni dishes.
Al-Suwaidi Park is hosting interactive events, from October 13 to November 30, 2024, to celebrate the heritage and culture of 9 different countries: Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Yemen, Jordan, Egypt, the Levant and Sudan.
The Park is a prominent landmark in Riyadh, extending over an area of 140,000 square meters. It offers a rich cultural experience for Riyadh Season’s visitors, by showcasing traditional music, clothes, handicrafts and traditional foods of different countries.
