
The Museums Commission gears up to launch an outstanding exhibition tackling Saudi Arabia’s art scene, Arab News reported.
The exhibition will be launched in several countries showcasing the evolution of contemporary art in the Kingdom and the most notable artistic endeavors.
Scheduled to kick off in Brazil this November, the event will coincide with the G20 Summit.
Thus, the global audience will have an exclusive opportunity to expose to the Kingdom’s artistic heritage.
It will feature works by approximately 15 Saudi artists, highlighting numerous genres and generations.
Through installations, sculptures, oil paintings and drawings, the event will offer a clear image of the Kingdom’s rich cultural and artistic scene.
Then, the exhibition will be back to Riyadh, where it will be hosted at the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art in the Jax district in early 2025.
After its journey in Riyadh, the exhibition will head to the National Museum of China in Beijing toward the end of 2025.
