Saudi’s Glorious Heritage Across China Roads for Once

Special Tourism Packages to Chinese Based on Their Interests, Insights

As part of Vision 2030 to achieve 100 million visits annually among including 4 million Chinese travelers by 2030, Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has organized the first-of-its-kind roadshow in China to present the Kingdom’s glorious cultural and heritage offerings.

The event was held in participation with 13 partners including DMCs, hoteliers and airline partners in addition to the attendance of more than 300 key Chinese trade partners and media.

The roadshow included a series of events, meetings, round table discussions and networking events to consider the beauty of KSA, its diverse tourism offerings and competitive position as an ideal travel destination for Chinese.

STA announced over twenty strategic partnership announcements through the roadshow meetings with trade partners and travel buyers in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

CEO and Member of the Board at STA Fahd Hamidaddin said that: “The world’s biggest tourism developments are taking place in KSA like: the milestone project Bujairi Terrace and developments in Al Ahsa Oasis and Hegra which underscore the country’s commitment to meet China’s demand for cultural and heritage tourism in the Kingdom while sharing a future that will boost Saudi and China intimate relationship through investments.”

President-APAC Markets at STA Alhasan Aldabbagh, confirmed that Saudi has set special packages for Chinese travelers based on their interests and insights, so that they can look forward to a diverse range of experiences including: adventure, culture, heritage as well as stunning nature.

STA was launched in June 2020 to market Saudi’s tourism destinations worldwide and develop creative offerings’ packages, in addition to developing the country’s unique assets and destinations.
