King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran
The Biggest Printing Plant on Earth to Serve Muslims Worldwide
It’s one of the most inspiring touristic and cultural attractions in KSA, where millions copies of the holy Quran are printed, translated and distributed all over the world annually.
It was inaugurated in 1405 Hijri in Medina, to serve Muslims and Islamic scholars all over the world, producing about 18 million products annually, besides offering several studies and researches to help writers in religious science.
In 2019, the Complex issued 300 million copies, translations and interpretations.
Its website offers the Arabic Qur’an, recitations, textual search, translations, images of early Qur’an manuscripts and commentaries.
Since 1985, The Complex published over 128 million books of the Qur’an, which is widely used by all sects of Islam and the original copy was written by calligrapher, Uthman Taha.
Masjid al-Qiblatain
It’s one of the earliest mosques in Islamic history located at a distance of three miles from Masjid-e-Nabwi in the holy city of Madinah and called “the Mosque of Two Qiblas,” better known as Masjid al-Qiblatain.
It was constructed by Sawad bin Ghanam bin Kaab in the second year of Hijra and it was the place where Prophet Muhammad received the Quranic revelation to change the direction of prayer (Qibla) from Bait Al-Maqdis in Jerusalem to the Holy Ka’bah in Makkah; After the change, the Muslims performed the first congregational prayer facing the Ka’bah.
