AlUla Manara Hosts Interactive Astronomy Experiment with KACST

The AlUla Manara team, in collaboration with experts from the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), has launched an interactive astronomical experiment, bringing together science and wonder under the shining sky of AlUla, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The experience offered residents, visitors, as well as astronomy enthusiasts a unique opportunity to witness daytime sunspots and observe a rare crescent sighting at sunset.

The initiative formed part of AlUla Manara’s educational programs, tailored to enhance astronomical awareness and spread scientific knowledge through live observation sessions.

During the event, visitors enjoyed an extraordinary blend of science and culture, where they learnt and enjoyed at the same time. The experience also enriched the region’s educational and scientific landscape, offering a new meaning for tourism and entertainment.
