Pakistan Culture Events Dazzle Al-Suwaidi Park’s Visitors

The Saudi Media Ministry has kicked off the Pakistan Culture events, in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and under the Quality of Life Program.

Running for three days in Al-Suwaidi Park in Riyadh, the event celebrates Pakistan’s culture and heritage through a captivating series of cultural events, interactive experiences and vibrant parades, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Pakistan Culture events offer a dazzling showcase of the Pakistani rich heritage, through booths displaying various cultural aspects such as traditional attires and handicrafts. The event also immerses visitors in an indulging culinary tasting experience to discover the richness of the Pakistani cuisine.

On the opening day, visitors enjoyed traditional folklore performances and other shows that highlighted the main elements of Pakistan’s culture. They also watched an interactive show by students of a Pakistani school in the Kingdom.

The Saudi Media Ministry extended an invitation to all the Pakistani community and residents of other nationalities to explore the event’s various experiences at Al-Suwaidi Park. Moreover, it underscored the event’s significance in promoting cultural exchange between different communities and cementing the Kingdom’s position as cultural hub.

Taking place under the “Global Harmony 2” initiative, the event focuses on enhancing communication among expatriates in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the Kingdom’s cultural diversity through an interactive space that engages different communities and cultures.

The “Global Harmony 2” initiative hosts a series of events in Al-Suwaidi Park to showcase the culture of 14 countries, including India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Yemen, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
