Saudi Arabia’s Air Connectivity Program (ACP) has launched new direct flights that will connect Dammam and London through the national flag carrier Saudia, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
In collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and Dammam Airports, the new Saudia flights will connect King Fahd International Airport in Dammam with Heathrow Airport in London, with three weekly flights in each direction, starting from November 2025.
The new air route aligns with the close cooperation between Saudia and the STA in encouraging travel to Saudi Arabia’s tourist destinations and promoting the Dammam-London route as part of promotional campaigns that target international markets.
Furthermore, the new announcement comes in line with the ACP’s efforts to enhance the international destinations network in cooperation with the tourism and aviation ecosystem to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 that aims to establish the Kingdom’s position as a global tourist destination, attracting more international visitors.
This expansion also underscores Dammam’s status as a key economic and tourist hub, strengthening growth opportunities in the tourism and aviation sectors, through improving air connectivity and boosting inbound tourism from European markets.
Moreover, the new destination enhances the position of the Eastern Province’s cities as unique tourist attractions that combine diverse tourist elements, including marine, coastal, entertainment, heritage, and cultural, in addition to business and conferences.
