Saudi Film Commission Joins Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025

The Saudi Film Commission is taking part in the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025, held from June 8 to 14 in Annecy, France one of the world’s premier events dedicated to animation.
This participation aims to foster global connections with animation professionals, showcase Saudi animation in European markets, stay current with industry trends, and offer national talent access to the festival’s training programs.

The Commission’s delegation includes representatives from the organization as well as a select group of Saudi animation filmmakers, chosen based on their activity, expertise, and animated productions completed in 2024.
This initiative also supports the broader goal of strengthening distribution and exhibition networks and further developing the local animation sector.

By joining the festival, the Kingdom underscores its ambition to become a prominent voice in global cinema and animation. Annecy provides a vital platform for creative exchange, co-production opportunities, and industry dialogue—contributing to long-term international partnerships and advancing Saudi Arabia’s cultural economy.
