Raghadan Forest Park, located on the slopes of the Sarawat Mountains just west of Al-Baha city, has emerged as one of the top eco-tourism attractions in the region. Covering an area of approximately 483,000 square meters at an elevation of over 1,700 meters above sea level, the park offers a moderate climate and breathtaking natural scenery.

Located approximately four kilometers from central Al-Baha, the park has been thoughtfully developed with lush green areas, scenic walking paths, shaded seating, and a wide range of recreational and service amenities. Moreover, a standout feature is Bahjat Raghadan Park, a 20,000-square-meter section that includes an artificial waterfall, open-air theater, children’s play zones, and the fragrant Lavender Garden, which connects to a central plaza and a 500-meter stone walkway.
Dr. Ali Al-Sawat, Mayor of the Al-Baha Region, described Raghadan Forest Park as a key environmental and tourism landmark. He highlighted several recent enhancements, including the second phase of sidewalk improvements—spanning 1,470 meters over 3,870 square meters—as well as the development of an 11,500-square-meter park area and a newly added 230-meter walking trail covering 944 square meters.

Dr. Al-Sawat also noted that the park is equipped with a fully integrated infrastructure to accommodate visitors’ needs. Green spaces extend across 384,787 square meters, complemented by 1,230 parking spaces—42 of which are reserved for people with disabilities—14 playgrounds, and 122 restrooms distributed throughout the park.
During the summer season, Raghadan Forest attracts large numbers of visitors, thanks to a variety of cultural and entertainment events hosted as part of the Al-Baha Summer Program. These initiatives aim to enhance the visitor experience and boost domestic tourism in the region.
