The Red Sea Film Foundation has launched the fifth edition of its “48-Hour Film Challenge,” to support Saudi Arabia’s filmmaking industry, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
In collaboration with the Embassy of France in Saudi Arabia and the French Cultural Center, the challenge seeks to provide Saudi youth with a dynamic creative environment in the independent film industry.
The competition mainly targets talented directors aged 18 to 25, offering an exclusive opportunity for new cinematic voices.
Each team must consist of no more than five participants under the leadership of a Saudi director.
The foundation stated that the registration process will run until June 15.
