Sudanese culture is taking the spotlight at the “Passport to the World” festival, running through May 24. The event offers an engaging cultural journey, featuring traditional Sudanese music, dance performances, and interactive workshops that showcase the country’s vibrant customs and communal traditions.

Guests can indulge in authentic Sudanese cuisine at a special food corner, where a variety of traditional dishes, desserts, and beverages highlight the warmth and hospitality of Sudanese culture. Visitors are also encouraged to wear traditional attire and explore the cultural meaning behind different regional colors and patterns.

Hosted by the General Entertainment Authority, the festival honors the diverse cultural contributions of expatriate communities in the Kingdom, promoting inclusion and mutual understanding through interactive experiences.

After earlier celebrations of Filipino and Bangladeshi cultures, the Sudanese-themed finale in Jeddah has attracted large, enthusiastic crowds. A similar event held in Alkhobar earlier this year also received widespread praise.
