Rose and Aromatic Plants Global Forum to Kick off in April

In a remarkable step to boost rose industry in Saudi Arabia, Taif Governorate will host the Rose and Aromatic Plants Global Forum in early April at Al-Hada Mountains, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The event will gather local and international stakeholders under one umbrella and offer them an important opportunity to create innovative solutions. In addition, the event will further support the cultural, tourism and entertainment diversity and pioneer the economic transformation of Taif roses.

In the light of this, the forum serves as a valuable platform for government entities, companies, as well as universities to share expertise and display their innovations in the field of roses and aromatic plants.

In line with the ambitious goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, the Rose and Aromatic Plants Global Forum aims to foster the development of manufacturing industries and bolster the local economy.

Interestingly, the forum will also allow visitors to discover the history of Taif roses, and the places and origins of roses in the foothills and sides of the famous Taif valleys.

Furthermore, the event will boast several scientific discussions and sessions on Taif roses and aromatic plants, crystalizing their economic significance in capturing the attention of various visitors and tourists around the world.

Taif University will also participate in the event by presenting several scientific and research papers, under the umbrella of the “Taif Rose Chair,” highlighting their efforts to advance Saudi industrial products to the global level.
