
Al-Andalus Park in Abha welcomed residents and visitors today following the completion of rehabilitation and facility upgrades, reopening as one of the city’s key recreational destinations with green spaces and amenities ready for outdoor leisure.
The park spans approximately 28,300 square metres, including about 17,400 square metres of green spaces that offer open areas for recreation and for enjoying the natural atmosphere for which Abha is known.
Development works included rehabilitating the 2,650-square-metre play area to provide a safe and suitable environment for children and families. A number of the park’s components and facilities were also upgraded to enhance the visitor experience and provide diverse options for recreation and relaxation.
Following its rehabilitation, Al-Andalus Park strengthens Abha’s network of parks and recreational destinations, providing open urban spaces that meet the needs of residents and visitors and boosting the city’s appeal as one of the prominent tourist destinations in the Aseer region.
