Jazan Red Crescent Branch Raises Emergency Readiness for Saudi National Day Celebrations

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s branch in Jazan Region has raised its emergency preparedness level to support Saudi National Day celebrations. The plan includes strengthening field coverage across the region’s governorates and supporting event venues with ambulance teams, medical personnel, and the equipment needed to ensure rapid responses to emergencies and uninterrupted services around the clock.

The emergency coverage plan includes 24 ambulance centers distributed across the region’s governorates, in addition to ambulance teams stationed at event venues. A total of 39 ambulance teams will take part, equipped with the personnel and medical supplies required to handle various emergencies based on the nature of each event and expected attendance.

The branch is also increasing its ambulance presence at celebration sites while maintaining the readiness of its emergency centers and ensuring the continuous receipt and handling of calls. This will allow emergency services to continue without disruption during the National Day festivities.

The operations room receives emergency calls around the clock at 997. Meanwhile, the branch’s building in Jazan has been illuminated in the national colors as part of the celebrations, while field teams remain ready to provide the necessary care and transport patients to healthcare facilities when required.
