Red Sea Global has announced the opening of Six Senses Amaala, a beachfront resort overlooking Triple Bay at the Amaala destination. The resort is set to welcome its first guests from mid-July.
The opening marks another milestone in the development of Amaala, which continues to expand its wellness tourism offering by combining luxury hospitality with a landscape of dramatic coastal cliffs, protected bays, pristine beaches and desert mountains.

Red Sea Global
Commenting on the launch, John Pagano, Group Chief Executive Officer of Red Sea Global, said the company carefully selects partners that share its long-term vision for luxury tourism centered on regenerative travel that benefits both people and nature.
“Six Senses has established a global reputation for wellness experiences inspired by nature, sustainability and local culture, making it an ideal partner for Amaala,” Pagano said. “As the second Six Senses resort in our portfolio, this collaboration reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences built on quality and attention to detail while enriching Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector.”

The resort is the second project developed through the partnership between Red Sea Global and Six Senses, following the opening of Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea in 2023.
Inspired by Saudi Arabia’s traditional coastal architecture, the resort has been designed to blend into its natural surroundings, which include beaches, mangrove forests and desert mountains. Its open layout maximizes views of the surrounding landscape.
Six Senses Amaala
Six Senses Amaala features 100 suites and villas, as well as 25 branded residences, all designed to integrate with the surrounding environment.
At the heart of the resort is the Six Senses Spa, which includes an advanced health and longevity center, a biohacking recovery lounge, a Watsu pool, a sound dome, thermal facilities and personalized wellness programs that combine modern technology with holistic therapies.

The resort also offers three restaurants, an artisan bakery, a coffee roastery and a cooking school, serving fresh, locally inspired cuisine rooted in the Six Senses wellness philosophy.
A central mangrove lagoon is supported by environmental initiatives including the Earth Lab and the Mangrove Discovery program, allowing guests to explore local ecosystems through interactive experiences.
Guests also have direct access to Amaala’s wider attractions, including Corallium, the destination’s marine life institute, the Amaala Yacht Club, marine adventures, desert activities, as well as a growing collection of retail and dining venues.
Six Senses Amaala is the second international resort to open at the destination. Six additional resorts are scheduled to open during the year, further strengthening Amaala’s position as one of the world’s leading luxury wellness tourism destinations.
Once Triple Bay is fully completed, it will feature more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, branded residences, wellness facilities, yacht marinas, and an extensive range of retail and dining experiences.
The development forms part of Red Sea Global’s contribution to Saudi Vision 2030 by supporting economic diversification, creating new jobs and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global tourism destination.
