Covering 100,000 square metres, the development will feature entertainment venues, restaurants, retail outlets and spaces for live events.
In a statement on Monday, Al Al-Sheikh thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their support of the entertainment sector and for backing the project.

The destination will include a range of attractions, including live performances, a cinema, bowling, karting and other recreational activities, alongside dining and shopping facilities.
