Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has moved up 50 positions in the QS World University Rankings 2027, reaching 677th place globally, according to the latest rankings released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

The university’s advancement was largely driven by its strong performance in the International Research Network (IRN) indicator, where it ranked 88th worldwide and second among Saudi universities. The result highlights the scale and impact of the institution’s international research collaborations.

With this achievement, the university has attained “Triple Crown” status by securing a place in the world’s three most prominent higher education ranking systems: QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), also known as the Shanghai Ranking.
