The Sports Innovation Hackathon has opened registration for the 2026 hackathon, inviting innovators, developers, entrepreneurs, and investors to collaborate on innovative solutions set to shape the future of the sports economy, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
As part of the Sports Investment Forum, taking place in Riyadh from April 20 to 22, the hackathon seeks to provide a vibrant ecosystem that links innovative ideas with venture capital.
The initiative further stimulates the growth of emerging sports startups and projects, while supporting the sports sector and broadening its economic footprint, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Registration will remain open until March 31, with a total prize pool of SAR200,000 set to reward the most innovative solutions in the sports industry.
Apart from the financial prizes, finalists will also have a unique opportunity to showcase their ideas to investors, international companies, along with investment funds participating in the forum.
Hence, the event paves the way to transform these concepts into scalable startups and viable sports ventures.
The Sports Investment Forum 2026 will bring together ministers, senior executives, heads of sports federations, investment funds, and global companies. The event also features strategic sessions, exhibitions, partnership opportunities, and investment agreements.
