Cairo Hosts Eighth Edition of “Our Heritage 2026” Exhibition

The eighth edition of the “Our Heritage 2026” exhibition for handmade and heritage products opened today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. The event runs from October 17 to 24, with the participation of more than 1,000 exhibitors from Egypt and Arab countries, while the Kingdom of Morocco is this year’s guest of honor.

The exhibition celebrates traditional crafts and cultural heritage, providing a platform to showcase the folk arts of participating countries. It highlights the richness and diversity of Arab heritage and opens new commercial opportunities for thousands of creators and entrepreneurs from Egypt and across the Arab world, spotlighting their creative capabilities while focusing on supporting women entrepreneurs and enhancing opportunities for marketing and preserving handicrafts.

The exhibition features a special pavilion showcasing products by 150 creators with disabilities, including handmade carpets, furnishings, accessories, artifacts, antiques, kilims, crochet work, decoupage, macramé, and mother-of-pearl crafts.

This year, the exhibition is being held over an area of 10,000 square meters, with the participation of more than 1,000 projects from various Egyptian governorates across 32 craft sectors. It also features broad participation by institutions and associations concerned with heritage preservation and youth empowerment at the local, regional, and international levels.
