AlUla expands Accredited Destination Management Partner Network with 7 New Companies

AlUla has expanded its Accredited Destination Management Partners programme by adding seven new companies specialising in destination management, bringing the total number of partners in the programme to 19 from various global markets.
The inclusion of the new companies aligns with the programme’s drive to widen access to AlUla across a range of key and emerging tourism markets, and to develop cooperation channels with the travel and tourism sector, helping to provide services and support to visitors at every stage of their journey to the destination.
The seven new partners cover a broad spectrum of international markets, including the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and the Americas, as well as several markets in Asia and the Middle East.

Their operations extend across major markets such as Germany, Italy, Spain, France, India, Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and North America, in addition to the Chinese market—one of the world’s key source markets for visitors. Some of these companies also operate in the B2B segment, organising both group and independent travel.
The Accredited Destination Management Partners programme in AlUla provides a framework for accrediting travel-sector partners, setting a series of quality and reliability standards for travel-trade partners worldwide. The seven new companies join the 12 already accredited partners in the existing network, raising the total to 19 partners.
This expansion coincides with ongoing developments in AlUla’s tourism sector, underpinned by its distinctive cultural and natural heritage, year-round events, and a diverse range of accommodation and hospitality options.
AlUla International Airport recently underwent a 44% expansion in terminal and building areas, increasing its annual capacity by 75% to 700,000 passengers, alongside the addition of smart gates and 12 counters to handle international flights.

AlUla is connected by air through direct flights from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, as well as year-round regional direct flights from Doha, broadening access options to the governorate from within the Kingdom and abroad.
The Destination Management Partners network enables visitors to access a wide variety of tourism experiences in AlUla, alongside hospitality options listed in the Michelin Guide, as well as events and experiences held throughout the year.
The network also allows travel-sector partners to connect visitors to experiences and events on the “AlUla Moments” calendar, including the AlUla Skies Festival, as well as sporting and cultural events and wellness experiences, offering diverse options for visiting AlUla and exploring its sites and experiences year-round.
