The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group convened its 14th Youth Development Forum in Baku yesterday under the theme, “Youth Without Borders: Driving Shared Regional Prosperity.”
The forum brought together government representatives, development experts, youth leaders, entrepreneurs, and academics to discuss strategies for expanding opportunities for young people across IsDB member countries through deeper regional integration.

Held on the sidelines of the IsDB Group’s 2026 Annual Meetings, which are taking place under the broader theme “Regional Integration for Sustainable Prosperity,” the event underscored the importance of regional cooperation in empowering youth and promoting inclusive economic growth.
Participants explored ways to strengthen collaboration among member states in key areas including employment, entrepreneurship, mobility, innovation, and sustainable development. Moreover, discussions focused on creating a more supportive environment that enables young people to play a greater role in driving economic and social progress.
Finally, the forum concluded with calls for enhanced cooperation among governments, development institutions, academic bodies, the private sector, and youth organizations to develop scalable initiatives that empower young people and contribute to sustainable regional development across IsDB member states.
