The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) has declared a 4-day holiday for the private and non-profit sectors to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr.
The Spokesperson for the HRSD announced that the Eid Al-Fitr holiday will start at the end of the working day on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, corresponding to Ramadan 29, 1447 AH.
He added that holiday will last for four days, in line with the approved regulations and bylaws. Furthermore, the Spokesperson stressed that employers must adhere to the provisions of paragraph two of Article 24 of the Executive Regulations of the Labor Law, mandating paid leave and compensatory pay for employees working on official holidays.

Eid Al-Fitr is an Islamic holiday marking the end of Ramadan. It is a celebration of breaking the fast, featuring traditions and cultural practices. In Saudi Arabia, Eid Al-Fitr celebrations are a revival of old traditions.
