Saudi Arabia will host the WWE Night of Champions event as part of Riyadh Season lineup, building on the success that the event achieved in Jeddah in 2023.
Taking place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, the WWE Night of Champions will bring some of the most prominent WWE stars on June 28, 2025, as part of a unique series of spectacular challenges, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Furthermore, the renowned SmackDown show will premier in Riyadh, on June 27, 2025, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s status as a leading entertainment destination and enhancing the diversity of entertainment events held in the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia has consolidated its position as a key hub for WWE major events by hosting several editions, such as WWE Crown Jewel, Elimination Chamber, King and Queen of the Ring, Night of Champions, in addition to SmackDown and Monday Night RAW shows.
Moreover, Riyadh Season will host the 39th edition of the Royal Rumble event in January 2026, in a landmark collaboration between WWE and the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA).
“Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the Royal Rumble for the first time outside North America reflects the GEA’s ongoing commitment to bringing the world’s largest and most important entertainment events to the Kingdom,” GEA’s Chairman, Turki Al Al-Sheikh, said.
The Royal Rumble is one of WWE’s premier annual events, featuring special matches for men and women. During these matches, wrestlers compete to eliminate all other opponents to earn a spot in the WrestleMania main event.
