Riyadh Season has received the Media Excellence Award in the entertainment category, in recognition of its efforts in promoting its events.
The Saudi Minister of Media, Salman Al-Dossary, presented the award to the Vice President of Marketing and Communication at the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Ahmed Arafa, during a ceremony at Abu Bakr Salem Stage in Boulevard City, Riyadh.
The Media Excellence Award comes in recognition of Riyadh Season’s exceptional media efforts in promoting its events and boosting its local and international presence, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Riyadh Season is one of the largest entertainment events in the region, welcoming more than 20 million visitors in this edition from Saudi Arabia and beyond, underscoring its unparalleled ability to attract visitors and deliver a world-class entertainment experience.
Moreover, Riyadh Season has solidified Saudi Arabia’s status as a leading entertainment destination regionally and globally, by hosting major events and outstanding shows which appealed to various segments of society.
The Media Excellence Award is an annual award, launched by the Saudi Media Ministry, to celebrate creative media endeavors across various national events and media sectors.
It honors institutions and influential individuals for their outstanding contributions to developing media landscape and enhancing content quality, driving positive competition in the sector.
