Almond cultivation, deeply rooted in Al-Baha’s heritage, plays a vital role in the local economy by creating jobs and supporting agricultural trade. These captivating blossoms also attract tourists, contributing to the region’s thriving ecotourism industry.
Almond trees flourish across the Sarawat Mountains in Al-Baha and the governorates of Baljurashi, Al Mandaq, and Bani Hassan. According to farmers, a single tree can produce approximately 200 kilograms of almonds per season.
