High Power

High Power won the Longest Distance Covered by a Laser Light in a Laser Show, while The Fifth Pyramid won the Largest Illuminated Recyclable Material Sculpture of a Pyramid. Both light installations displayed unmatched levels of creativity and skill.

The first artwork, High Power, is an innovative artistic work that is visible from all over Riyadh city. It is located at the top of the 267-meter-high Al-Faisaliah Tower. By harnessing cutting-edge laser technology, the artwork creates strong beams of light that sends a message in Morse Code, promoting the word “Peace.”

Meanwhile, the second installation, The Fifth Pyramid, showcases the creativity of the Saudi artist, Rashed AlShashai. It is a 28-meter large pyramid structure made from sustainable materials, including green petrochemical shipping pallets. The sculpture is distinguished by a bright fuchsia walkway in the middle, symbolizing the innovative transformation in Saudi Arabia.

In the light of this, the Noor Riyadh Festival Director, Nouf Almoneef, said: “The scale and creativity of this festival are unparalleled, and these records underscore its global significance as a landmark event in the world of contemporary art.”
