The parks and gardens of the “Bride of the North,” Hail, welcome thousands of visitors, including residents and tourists from within and outside the region, during the mid-term vacation. The Hail Municipality, represented by the General Department of Parks and Beautification under the Projects Agency, has prepared 170 parks. These include parks, recreational areas, green spaces, and neighborhood gardens.
Visitors enjoyed quality time with their families amidst a serene natural setting. These parks offer a variety of recreational, tourism, and sports options, thanks to the efforts made by the municipality to prepare and maintain them. This includes landscaping the green spaces, fertilizing and trimming lawns, removing harmful weeds, and maintaining children’s play areas and safety equipment. They’ve also developed sports tracks, irrigation systems, lighting poles, decorative lights, family seating areas, shelters, public restrooms, parking, and benches.
These efforts enhance the parks’ safety and ensure their optimal performance. The municipality has doubled maintenance teams and emergency crews as part of its efforts to improve the urban environment, enhance the quality of life for citizens and visitors, and invest in parks and urban interventions. This aims to make parks a central hub for public well-being, foster community interaction and physical activity, and contribute to boosting tourism appeal and environmental sustainability.
