Saudi Arabia is showcasing its heritage and culture for the first time in China, through the Saudi Travel Festival, held in Tiantan Park in Beijing.
The Saudi Travel Festival is part of a wider global promotional campaign in China, launched by the Saudi Tourism Minister, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, on October 17, 2024, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Diriyah Company is taking part in the Saudi Travel Festival to showcase Saudi heritage. Through its Visit Saudi pavilion, the Diriyah company offers extraordinary interactive experiences for its visitors.
From the delicious Saudi coffee and dates to wearing Bisht Al Barqa, the traditional men’s wear in Diriyah, and taking memorable photos, visitors can immerse in the authentic Saudi hospitality.
Moreover, the pavilion offers a variety of activities that reflect the original Saudi heritage and culture, including artistic activities using clay, and exploring Arabic calligraphy, in an authentic atmosphere with the oud music playing in the background.
The Saudi Travel Festival is running from October 18-26, 2024. It aims to promote Saudi Arabia’s tourist destinations, history and culture, through highlighting the Kingdom’s cultural diversity and historical richness.
Chinese travelers can discover Saudi Arabia’s most famous landmarks, such as Diriyah, AlUla and Al Baha, through interactive booths and live performances.
The festival also includes a wide range of engaging activities, such as travel packages that encourage visitors to discover Saudi Arabia’s most prominent tourist and historical attractions, in addition to enjoying the enriching experiences in the Kingdom.
