Saudi Innovator Wins Double Gold at Kuwait’s Invention Fair

Saudi inventor Duaa Nizar Khudry captured two gold medals at the 16th edition of the International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME), held in Kuwait from February 8 to 12.

Khudry, a member of Mawhiba Alumni under the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), was honored for inventing a device that filters materials and recycles used liquids.

She received her first gold medal from the fair’s organizing committee and earned a second distinction — the IFIA Best Invention Award — presented by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).

Mawhiba nominated and supported Khudry to represent Saudi Arabia at the exhibition, marking the foundation’s third participation in the annual event.
