Madinah Recognized Among Top 100 on World Tourism Day

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, observed Friday, September 27, Madinah earned a place among the world’s top 100 travel destinations. The recognition comes from a report by Euromonitor International, which ranked the city first in Saudi Arabia, fifth in the Gulf region, and sixth across the Arab world.

Euromonitor, a leading independent provider of market data and insights across 210 countries, highlighted the city’s growing appeal. The achievement reflects ongoing initiatives to enhance the experience of pilgrims and visitors through improved services, modernized facilities, and long-term development strategies.

Madinah continues to shine as both a cultural and spiritual hub, home to landmarks such as the Prophet’s Mosque Building Exhibition, the Safiyyah Museum and Park, and the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization.
