Duba Municipality Mayor, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Anzi, described the Duba Corniche as one of the governorate’s key attractions, featuring expansive open spaces, walking paths, dedicated seating areas, and a variety of services designed to enhance visitor comfort. He also pointed to several scenic coastal sites across the governorate, including Al-Muqayti‘a Corniche, Duba Bay, the northern waterfront, and Lotus Square and Corniche, one of the city’s landmark tourism projects.

Covering an area of 21,000 square meters, Lotus Square offers football, basketball, and padel courts, in addition to a children’s play tower. Al-Anzi noted that ongoing development and upgrade projects along the waterfront and in public spaces continue to reinforce Duba’s position as an attractive winter destination for both residents and tourists.

He emphasized the municipality’s commitment to ensuring the waterfront remains safe, clean, and welcoming through proper lighting, comprehensive services, and regular maintenance of green spaces and pedestrian walkways, supporting broader quality of life objectives.
